In Crysis, the player fights both North Korean and extraterrestrial enemies, in three different environments: a tropical island jungle, an alien ship (with a zero-gravity area) and a United States Navy aircraft carrier. Crysis was well-received by critics, but its initial commercial performance was lower than predicted. However, EA has recently reported being happy with sales, stating that the game has sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide.
